This blog is about thinking --- for happiness and good mental health.  I will be sharing things that I have been thinking about from day to day.  I encourage you to join me in this "thought process" by commenting on posts. 
I will be writing a couple of columns:  SOMETHING TO WRITE ABOUT which will contain journaling springboards that can be used to explore your inner self in your notebook. SOMETHING TO DO grew out of a blog post and is a list of small things you can do to increase your joy in everyday life.  I hope you give some of these a try. Both columns will be updated and new things added from time to time in true blogging fashion with the newest entry at the top.
An odd article or two might appear that is related to something in a blog post or a question I was asked.  I will be adding something every week, even if it is just a new photo, so drop by again every now and then.


My name is Geraldine Brown.  I am a Licensed Mental Health Practitioner.  I also hold certifications as a professional counselor, financial social work counselor, and a health coach.  I started my counseling practice in 1995.  I have always been very passionate about psychology.  Even as a little girl I wanted to help people who were sad, nervous, or upset.  I started this blog because one of my other passions is writing, but psychology always plays a part in my writing so it is become mostly what this blog is about.  I hope you enjoy and benefit from becoming a reader.
